DINNER CRUISE IN PARIS WITH BATEAUX MOUCHES

If you’re planning to visit Paris with someone special and want to see all landmarks within one night, cruising along the seine with Bateaux Mouches is the right experience for you.

Bateaux Mouches dinner cruise is probably one of the most romantic experiences you can have in Paris. They offer a wide variety of experiences during the day, however the evening Excellence cruise seemed like the best choice (plus there’s a dress code so you get to dress all fancy).

There is hardly anything more beautiful than Paris after sunset, when the lights go on. Cruising along the Seine, crossing bridges, passing through the illuminated buildings…

The starting point is at Pont de l’Alma. Before boarding, the staff welcomes you and tells you to wait in the lounge area.

THE EXCELLENCE MENU

The views aren’t the only thing worth writing about.

We were welcomed with a glass of champagne. The menu has a selection of starters, main courses, trio of seasonal AOP cheese, desserts and a bottle of wine (and a lot of bread in between).

Since one of us is vegetarian, it wasn’t that hard to choose as they have one vegetarian option in each category (cream of pumpkin soup with coconut milk; spelt and carrot duet and praline mille-feuille a.k.a the best dessert ever). André opted for open shrimps ravioli, beef tenderloin and chocolate dessert with crispy sesame wafer.

The environment is exceptional, and the staff is really friendly. As you go through the Seine, they always name the bridges and monuments you are moving towards to.

The highlight was the 10pm light show. You can watch the Eiffel Tower sparkling, from the top of the cruise. In our opinion this is one of the best view points of the tower at night. It’s perfect if you want to celebrate a birthday, a special date or surprise someone.

These are the kind of moments that make you wish you could go back in time just to relive it again.

The price is from 130 euros per person. Boarding in Pont de l’Alma starts at 7:45pm. The boat departs at 8:30pm and returns at 10:45pm.
